The Dodger games have not sold out. Even at Candlestick these games sold out. Poor Tim says it's the dynamic ticket pricing. Our tickets were all $33 apiece for the past several years, because they would take the full price of the season ticket and divide it by 80-whatever games. This year, they put the true asking price on each game ticket. Most were $28, but Red Sox and Dodgers were $54. I imagine the box office price went exponentially higher closer to gametime. They priced themselves right out of six sellout opportunities.
Not a very smart move, given the woeful product on the field right now. No one wants to pay big bucks to see the hated Dodgers beat up on our team.
