Zito's scarier than Ishi's fall. The Padres suck. Oh, and Charlie Manuel sucks too!!!!

Zito looks like the April Zito we usually know.

Missy and Boo wrote: And Correa is not the same pitcher that he was when he left the Giants. He was tired, darn near worn out, and suffering from muscle and tendon strain rangeing from his shoulder to his wrist due to a completely incompetent manager, Felipe Alou. Alou ruined the careers of quite a few pitchers by his bullpen abuse. That man should never be allowed to go near an arm under 25. Correa went to his college coaches and was slowly rehabbed as if he were an injured 18 year old. The rest, rehab, and retraining has put him back on track. The local coaching staff in SLO said he will never recover his velocity and stamina but he has his control back and can now throw without pain. He's only good for about 6 innings so the Giants will have a chance to beat up on the Padre bullpen.

Correia looks eminently hittable. His fastball does nothing. Seems the Giants just can't get themselves up for the sweep though.

Zito out of the game. Guess it wasn't his day. And he had been doing so well too.

I'll bet dollars to doughnuts the fan catch down the first base line makes Sports Center.

Blonde with skin showing? Absolutely.
Well, poo. I was hoping to go to the break with an unlikely 50 wins. Oh well. |

She was sitting four seats down from me. She made a great catch and whoever was with her caught her by the ankle to keep her from going
on the field. In the middle of the ninth, when they played the "Let's do it" medley on the scoreboard (for when we're losing), they replayed
her catch as part of it. Even the umps were huddled together on the infield pointing to her.

Hey, our games need to get on SC somehow. It was an awesome play and, yes, she was gorgeous. Let's hear it for the ladies in the stands!
Now if we could just get our shortstop to put in the same effort. |
