Have not been in first place in the Northern Division of the California League since the first day of the season. Never thought it would happen this year. But
somehow that idiot manager has gotten them to the top, and they once again clinch the first half of the season.
I have to say I was furious to hear, in the post game comments, the announcer say that Andy Skeels said to him that this team is exhausted. Well, I wonder why...half the team has sat on the bench most of the 70 games they have played. One of the boys told me ALL Skeels wants to do is win. I like seeing them win. But I also like to see the guys play and get better and get prepared to move up eventually. And I don't like seeing boys NOT play for a week because they are hurt because they have been playing too much.
Way to go San Jose--in spite of your manager.
