Just so people don't have to look up the link:

Reds get: Gary Majewski (RP), Bill Bray (LRP), Royce Clayton (SS), Brendan Harris (IF), Daryl Thompson (P)

Nationals get:Austin Kearns (OF), Felipe Lopez (SS)

By the numbers:
Reds:
Majewski: 3.58 ERA/1.34 WHIP, 34 Ks, 25 walks, 3-2 record
Bray: 3.91 ERA/1.43 WHIP, 16 Ks, 9 walks, 1-1 record
Thompson: in Vermont all season on a rehab assignment, 0-1, 6.75 ERA, 8 Ks, 5 walks. 7-14, 3.96 ERA for the Nationals over the past three years.
Clayton: .269 BA, .663 OPS, 0 HRs, 27 RBI, 36 runs, 8 SBs
Harris: .250 BA, .646 OPS, 0 HRs, 2 RBI, 3 runs, 0 SBs

Nationals:
Kearns: .274 BA, .843 OPS, 16 HRs, 50 RBI, 53 runs, 7 SBs
Lopez: .268 BA, .749 OPS, 9 HRs, 30 RBI, 55 runs, 23 SBs

That's just madness. Absolute madness. The Reds will have to win the World Series to overcome a trade like this. They gave away 80 RBI, 30 SBs and 25 HRs for no power, low average hitters and middling relievers. Terrible.

It sucks to be a Reds fan. Not that I am one, but it sucks if you are.
