Otherwise, I might be forced to repost the 911 call when Bonds was beating his wife (again)

Not to get this further off track but I find it interesting that in the thread about Beck's death being due to perhaps drug abuse, that there was much talk about how an addiction, or drug abuse in general, can be a sickness and how hard a battle it could be and that we should celebrate those that beat it or stay clean for an extended period of time. Assuming this is the case, and assuming someone believes that Barry may have used steroids ( a drug), which perhaps promoted these actions, should he not be afforded the same compassion as those that have beat other drug abuses? I didn't see people bringing up Shooter's less than proud moments. Heck, the other day when I was talking about my opinion of Frank Robinson and bleacher insinuated that Bonds was guilty of greater transgressions than Robinson and asked me to show otherwise, I didn't bother to bring up the fact that Robinson had once been arrested for pulling a gun during an altercation, something to my knowledge Barry has never done. Why? Because it was a long time ago, and while still a jerk IMO, he had more recent instances, IMO, to support it. At some point, you just need to let things go if a person has changed.

All this shows is that hyprocrisy exists not only in the press but on this board too. I seem to remember some saying about a glass house but it appears here many are well armed with stones anyway.
