When Hairston hit that home run there was a shot of Cain in the dugout.

His face told the whole story of not only the game but his and the giants whole season. Cain (IMO) looked like he wanted to cry and I don't blame the kid.It was a look of total disbelief and shock.

What else can this guy do to get a win? He struck out 11 batters!, He pitched his ass off and so at what point does he have a meltdown?

I can't remember any pitcher ever having such a "snake bitten" season. His confidence must be affected at this point in his young and brillant career.
I know my confidence in my skills would be and I hope to God his team mates are picking him up.

Cain must have a strong constitution and some sort of incredible inner strength.

I forget every year what the rules are for the willie mac award but at this point in the season Cain is my vote for the award.

I felt so bad for him , especially that look on his face from the dugout. I think I said outloud to him, hang in there guy and someday it will be better.
