Dave:

Those are some nice names you're throwing up there and i'd LOVE to see it happen, but i'm still of the opinion that the only way the Giants move Alfonzo is a move similar to the Livan Hernandez deal - eating most if not all of his contract for a mid-level player..... Just isn't much of a market for a corner infielder with no power and no speed and Sabean has not shown much in his recent trades to pull off a pitcher for somebody of Alfonzo's "abilities" - maybe a healthy Durham...

Carebear:

On Glavine's contract, i think the buyout holds for all of the incentive levels. He's probably going to make the middle one which would put him at $9.5M for 2006. With a $3M buyout, depending on how they end up this season, i can't see him returning.

On the Bonds' collectibles, please correct me if i'm wrong, but i understand that he is the only player that has broken off with MLB and is hawking and profiting from his own goods, so it is a unique situation for now. But nonetheless, my point is that he will hang around as long as he can make money in this game. 2007 looks like a mighty profitable season.
