In addition, if I remember right, Barry uses his collectables revenue to fund his charities so where is your beef?

Was his mistress' name Charity?

Some thoughts for 2006.....

- I saw Matt Cain live this past Saturday @ Raley Field (1st baseline, 1st row near the Grizz dugout). Very impressive. Mizes speeds well, but wildness is terrible. IMO, he should start 2006 in AAA. Reminds me of Rich Harden a few years back minus the violent arm movements. (I can post more later in "Prospects" if people would like).

- Moving Alf for a starter is so GENIUS that it will never happen. Come on, let's remember who we are depending on.

- Move Barry to Los Angeles (AL) ASAP. A middle IF prospect and a pitching prospect (take your pick, they're loaded) would be wonderful. If we could also pry Chone "Loves Chachi" Figgins, I'd be in heaven.

- I don't think Tomko will ever turn the page while in SF. He needs to go to Atlanta where Leo can work on makeing him mentally tougher. If Tomko has 1/10 of Woody's heart, toughness, guile, and determination he's be an All-Star.

- Don't rely on Linden and Ellison to fill out the OF.

"You've got to be loyal to your team. You can't just jump on the bandwagon. It's us loyal fans who are in line now waiting to get tickets -- we're the ones who matter.'' - Tony Agnitsch, 29, of El Sobrante who was IN LINE buying tickets for an A's-Angels August game only after they've won 75% of their last 60 games (in 08.09.05's Chron). Yea, he's not bandwagon. Not at all.

I just cannot watch this brand of baseball any longer. A truly awful, pathetic, old team that only promises to be worse two years from now. It's just awful. It really is bad to watch. Brain-dead front office acquiring slop annually. You have a General Manager in Brian Sabean whose mind has turned to Cream of Wheat.
