unless Bonds submits to playing 1st base, he WILL go to the American League as a DH and will hang around for as long as it takes to break the record. No way he plays left field with that knee and his age.

this guy is about the money (look at his shopping network website) and frankly, with the lost 2005 season, it means more $$$ in his bank account because his 2007 season will be the record season and will earn him a very nice contract.

i would bet the house as i have always said - he will be the DH with the Anaheim Angels in 2007 if not sooner, depending on his return audition for the American League. Makes too much sense, especially if he shares the lineup with Vlad - teams won't be pitching around him there - they certainly will here.
