LoneStar:

I take it Dunn (not Griffey) is who you think we could and should get from the Reds. Griffey would give us four starting outfielders (Bonds, Griffey, Alou, and Wynn) so one would have to be traded or play 1B. Dunn on the other hand is a first baseman playing LF because he is a better outfielder then Casey.

By the way, why do you see Richie (as a backup) as a bad idea compared to Cruz? And, why do you think Barry's knees could not possibily cause him to reconsider his position on playing FirstBase?

Bleacher:

You think adding a stud pitcher like Burnett or Millwood and/or a Stud Left Handed bat like Griffey or Dunn is ""just re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic? Man, you are a hard man to please.
