A new, more casual restaurant will replace it. Traci des Jardins, the executive chef will still be there.

When the Giants aren't playing, they don't get the business. Um, duh. I don't think a high end restaurant at a ballpark is a great idea, and definitely not in this recession. More casual = good. Might be fun.

Giants fans might be interested in the following auction of Giants
memorabilia this Saturday.  Rocket Dog is a great non-profit that saves
dogs from kill situations (often shelters) and places them in good
homes. 

I happen to know the way they get the Giants stuff is that one of the
benefactors is cousins with the Giants' equipment manager Mike Murphy,
so the Giants donate these items and Mike acquires the autographs
himself.  As such, there is no authentication...

I was too lazy to find the old thread so there. Thanks to everyone that played this year. Ken pretty much dominated the entire season so I think he needs to be banned or at the very least found riding his motorcycle too fast while running from IRS agents. Or something like that. My favorite league by a long shot. Next year... Keepers!

Finding a old nugget

You know what it's like to discover an old work that you didn't listen to way back when, and it becomes a new favorite? I've been a fan of Wilco for awhile, but I never heard Mermaid Avenue until recently. It's currently in my CD rotation. Back in 1998 Billy Bragg released this album made up of previously unrecorded lyrics by Woody Guthrie. Guthrie's daughter had given the lyrics to Bragg who enlisted Wilco to help complete the project.

Do you have any re/new...
